Special Thanks: To my lifelong friend Steve Kickham who nominated me for this incredible honor. In 1981, Steve brought me to a Scott Gallagher practice coached by Tom Howe and that fortuitous moment started a soccer journey that allowed me to play with Timmy Strange, Jeff Horton and countless other incredible players over the years. To coaches like Tom Howe, Dan Gaffney, Joe Clarke and others who taught me the game and took a chance on me.
To my friend and mentor at WWT, Jim Kavanaugh. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside Jim for 30+ years. I’m humbled by what our collective team at WWT has accomplished and grateful we’ve been able to pay it forward and give back to the game of soccer in St. Louis.
To my wife Angie, my kids Ally (Jake), Shane, Cameron and grandkids Josie, Nellie and Theo. I love you all.
