Russell, “Bunny” 1978

I’ve been going through old letters etc. from my dad’s days (1944) as a student at the Naval Electronics School on/near Ferry Street. I came across a post card from the Bunny Russell Tavern. I remember the times my mother and I (age 7) would sometimes meet Dad and fellow sailors at your place after class.
Prior to departing for war, I remember Dad and his group presented one of the owners/employees a model of an old sailing ship and commentating on how teary eyed she became upon receiving the gift.
