The Bob Kehoe Future Star Award is named after Robert “Bob” Kehoe (STLSHOF 1983) (USSHOF 1989) , the long time All Star Player, Coach, Manager, Announcer, Mentor, and Friend to so many players in St. Louis.
The St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame reviews names of young men and women who are Juniors entering their Senior year into the St. Louis High School system. From this list, two young men and two young women are chosen, not only for their soccer credentials, but also as individuals who are stand outs in their schools. Another criteria that is taken into effect is their work that they perform outside the school system for their community.
We do the best we can not to limit selections to one school over another or one club over another. The High School experience is an important building block for these young men and women and playing soccer with your classmates will hopefully leave a lasting impression on everyone involved.
