Mark Moser grew up in North County playing for the Norco soccer club, his adult career took off at Lewis and Clark CC with third place finishes in his two years, then on to Sangamon State University in 1986 where he lead them to a NAIA National Championship and then a NAIA Final Four appearance in 1987. Recognized as a 4 time All American during his collegiate career.
Staying in St. Louis a few years, Mark would be on the NORCO National Championship Team and then on to Kutis SC with the Open Cup Championship team.
Then Mark was on the road starting his 12 year professional indoor career. From the Dayton Dynamos, to the Memphis Rogues, Indiana Kicks, then it was back in St. Louis to find a home away from home at the Old Barn, the Checkerdome. Mark would be a part of the original Storm, then Ambush playing in front of some of the highest attended games in St. Louis history, ending with a resurgence of the St. Louis Steamers. A member of the Championship Ambush Team in 1995 , Team MVP and all league honors. He would stay with indoor until retiring finishing with 622 Goals and 201 assists in his 404 game indoor career.
He was a member of the US National Futsal team representing the United States in the 1986 World Championships in Segovia, Spain.
Mark would find himself in the outdoor game with the O-30 St. Louis Scott Gallagher team and the Kutis O-30 teams making it to the National Finals both times.
Mark’s finest hours were during his indoor career leading the Ambush to 4 final appearances and St. Louis only professional championship in 1986.
