I had an uncle with the name: Ray Blake, he was a captain in the St. Louis fire department and died suddenly in 1950. My mother attended his induction into HOF about the 1978 time frame. I’m wanting to verify, if this is my uncle. The 1930-31 photo of the St. Matthews team shows the individual in the back row as he, and I assume that his shirt is that of a goalkeeper. My mother said that he did play that position.
My question is: do you have any other information from that class that I can share with my grandchildren and family members?
