Gould, Charlie 1993

After my Dad returned from WW2 he finished his education at Washington University. A couple of years later he was hired by the Globe Democrat where he enjoyed writing about soccer and Washington Bears football. Many times he would tell my brother and me about the various teams and the players around the city. Pozzini, McBride, Gentile and others from “The Hill” were some of the names he would bring up in our conversations. He expired at 83 years old, lucid to the end. He is missed
