Representing the CYC All-Stars at the coin toss are first three individuals from l-r are St. Louis Soccer Hall of Famers Bob Kehoe, Jay Moore and referee Clarence Jonak at one of the many International Games that would make St. Louis a certain stop to play the best in the United States when they would plan their Tour of the USA.
Jay was a member of the 1965 St. Louis University Division I National Championship Team, Member of the United States Pan American in 1967 and Olympic Teams Member in 1968. On a professional level, 1968 saw Jay playing for the Dallas Tornado in the NASL, before returning to the St. Louis to play for the St. Louis Stars in 1969.
In addition to Jay’s St. Louis University accomplishments, found his as a member of the 1962 United States Junior Cup Champion Kutis Jr. Soccer Team. As an amateur, Jay played for Good Counsel in the Major Soccer League from 1964-66 and for Lindburg Cadillac in the St. Louis League in 1967. Jay was a perennial CYC All-Star during his amateur years.
