The Martin Moriarty Family happened to find another mention of their father in an article that was written for a Globe-Democrat article on Harry “Dutch” Snyder. It seems that Mr. Moriarty played a pivotal role in the 12-year suspension of Mr. Snyder. It does not go into detail what occurred, but is must have been memorable.

I noticed this post for Martin Moriarty in the St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame. Martin was my Grandfather. I was wondering If you would like a photo to link to his name on the website? I have photos of him in his St Louis Metro Police uniform (he was an Officer for many years) or I have pictures of him in regular clothes. Just let me know.

There is always a special place in my heart for Jim & Joe Leeker and the memories of playing with Jim on the St. John the Baptist soccer team.And I am especially grateful to Jim for getting my father, Martin J Moriarty reinstated into the St. Louis Soccer Hall of fame after his induction slipped through the cracks and his name was omitted.
