Kevin Handlan started at Kirkwood High School when soccer was just starting to take shape. Kevin would take All-American honors and they found his way to the SECO Juniors National Junior Cup Championship. His expertise on the forward line would find him on the roster of St. Louis University and after he would join the Kutis SC. A member of the St. Louis University National Championship in 1973, Kevin would head west with the San Jose Earthquakes and Tulsa in the NASL, moving back west to start his indoor career with the Los Angeles Skyhawks, then home to become a member of the Inaugural St. Louis Steamers Team, then north to Chicago Horizon and lastly, Kevin would complete his soccer career with his new home the Kansas City Comets. Kevin would play 5 years with the Comets and continues to live in the Kansas City area where his second passion of playing golf as much as he can.
