Walsh, Tim 2023

Congratulations to Tim Walsh, who has probably heard that a number of times in his playing career.  His nickname could be either National Finalist or National Champion.  Another member of the Ruiz Soccer Club U-17 National Champions, and a U-19 Imo’s National Championship Teams.  Tim’s defensive prowess would land him at Indiana University (Jerry Yaegley would say defense St. Louis offense East coast).  While at Indiana they were finalists two years and quarter finalists twice, just missing another championship.  Like many others, Tim would give back to the game and refereeing was a natural fit.  From 1994-2015, Tim would be on the line or in the center.  His work was so respected, from 2010-2015 Tim would run the High School Final Four and in the center for 3 years of High School Finals.
